Celebrating Easter!

One quiet day we made Easter cookies! Kalina decorated
precisely and sweetly; Elise's method was based on the
theory that there's no such thing as too many sprinkles.
It's an Easter parade, the day before!
Uncle Tom arrived to help us with the eggs! Fun! Elise
could not be disturbed to smile for a picture--too busy
checking eggs.

Elise not only outlasted the other two, she
also demonstrated perfect form in balancing
eggs on a spoon, dipping them, scooping
them out and lifting them to the tray. There
were no casualties. She loved it so much,
we might just have to dye Christmas eggs!

The Easter baskets have been found! Elise still hardly lets
hers out of sight, although the treats are long gone.
With Grandpa, Uncle Tom and soft Easter chicks!

Jewwy beans. Elise would not allow herself
to be separated from her treats until they
were safely in her tummy.
A family picture!
Kalina picked out the dresses, by the way.
Elise readily agreed. It started to
warm up just in time, so that these pics
were smiley instead of quite chilled.

Our Easter crew!

Not sure why Kalina has a fascination with
chins lately.

The hunt is on!

Elise fully participated--finding not only the
"easy" ones!
