Picture Post!

Recently, we welcomed Matt's parents to town for Matt's cousin's wedding! We had fun seeing lots of family during the weekend. Unfortunately, the term "we" applied mostly to me and Matt, as Kalina was recovering from probably her worst illness yet (which still wasn't too bad), and was also still working on potty training. Our little anti-socialite spent an uncharacteristic amount of the weekend pleading "Back home, back home!" And looking up at us with those large, adorable brown eyes. However, we still managed to get some cheesy grins out of her. Here are our best shots:

Feeding a plethora of ducks and geese and turtles and fish (not pictured) at the local gardens. This local heron was feasting in the area, too. Matt "chummed" the water around him with bits of bread, which the fish gobbled up before they, in turn, were gobbled up. It was pretty amazing, and a little creepy--I couldn't watch parts of it. And then the heron chased a mommy duck who was protecting her ducklings from it, and I really couldn't watch, but fortunately everyone escaped unharmed.
